I never thought I’d say this…

Published: June 4th, 2006

Oh my god, I bought a MAC!

I’m like in disbelief right now. I NEVER EVER thought I’d EVER say this. But… I think I want a Mac.

I know, all of you are like “HOLY CRAPOLA!” - “Daniel Fischer?”, “With a MAC?!” … “I thought that guy swore by PC and Linux?!?!?!”

Well, Apple’s marketing has finnaly got to me. The new intel processors can support the windows OS. So… if I ever needed anything from Windows I could simply boot into that enviornment. But besides, why would I need Windows anyway? My only concern was gaming, because as far as I can tell - I can preety much do anything on Mac enviornment that I could do on Windows, only much more clean and secure. See, another thing about me is that I’m preety bad on the internet. I don’t buy my software *cough*. I always thought that the Mac was warez proof. I guess I was wrong because I found a ton through bitorrent. So… I have such a huge urge to buy an Intel Macbook Pro or the Desktop version of the Intel Mac system. I’m not sure really, but I think I’d have fun with either one.

What really bothers me though is how expensive these buggers are. The Laptop is expensive as HECK! So… I think I may just try to settle with the desktop and be happy with that. That is, if I get the insane amount of money to do so. I’m so used to being able to buy cheap parts for PC and still optimizing it to run as good as any other high quality parts. Or at least get bargain deals. No more with a Mac.

I guess that’s the downside to succesful marketing and design.

I’ll let you know how it goes if I find the money to get it. :)
