my boyfriend is 7' 3" and we are having a very hard time finding a car for him. we were thinking about getting a car adjusted for him but we dont know how much it would be to do that. If you have any information, please let us know. (keefe117@hotmail.com)

I'm 6'7" 250lbs and 53. Driving a 2003 Avalanche right but 16mpg on the highway is a downer. The truck fits but the gas price is a killer. Recently I have been shopping. At any car dealer my first comment,"if I can't get in it comfortably there is no point". I sat in the 3 series BMW wagon. It fits, I like it but to get in it is like getting down on the ground to get in and like pulling out of a deep hole when I get out. The price is right and so is the mpg. Nowadays I really do want to be comfortable getting in out of my vehicle. The VW beetle has great leg and side to side room. Can't see me in it though. Accord fits, it's too low for me. This purchase process has been impossible for me.

I'm over 6'6" and drive a 95 Towncar. They took all the legroom out in 98 though, but you can get an old used one cheap. Nissan Altima's are good and anything with electric seats will help comfort will driving. In the early 90s, they changed the way the spec. out legroom and started keeping up with minimum back seat legroom. How stupid is that, the car companies are purposely preventing the car seats from going all the way back just in case somebody wants to sit behind you. The old "cab forward" chrysler design was good, but now you have to buy a high end chrysler (300 or so) to get the legroom.
