Los Angeles Cops are evil. I don’t think it’s like this in other places in the U.S - These cops just sit in hidden places and wait for someone to nail. This is not protecting society, this is only creating frustration for people. I never understood this concept. Especially if it’s really minor traffic laws. For example, making a right hand turn during the wrong hour. There is a cop off of Clinton and La Brea that constantly sits right there waiting for a car to turn the wrong way. I find it completely ridiculous that they have a “shark-like” mentality to hunt people down and give them tickets.
I’ve also noticed that more “motorcycle” cops do this than the cruiser version.
I absolutely disagree and think it’s wrong. What say you?
The thing you have to realize about cops is that they have to look like they are doing there job. To get paid they have to be doing something but they don’t want to do anything risky. Writing a ticket is pretty safe. Try to intervene in armed criminals is inherently risky.
They also have to meet a quota. They will tell you a million times they dont have one but thats a load of BS. This way they make it easily and wont get in the line of fire. It also helps them have more coffee time ;)
I really love it when they park their bikes behind trees on public sidewalks and hit you with the radar gun. Real cool stuff.
