Online Spreadsheets and Documents by GOOGLE!
Published: October 12th, 2006Online Spreadsheets and documents by google, hell yeah!
Okay, I really love google. I almost swear by it for anything. Why? I don’t know, they’re just so great. They give free things, they bring me quality traffic, and they give me money (not much, but anything helps pay for hosting, right?!) What’s next? (Besides them taking over the world)
For one thing, they got this awesome new Spreadsheet and Document application that is browser-based. I don’t think it will replace the major office applications that are already out there, but I can see how this thing can really help out those that don’t require specific features. Plus there are some really cool features that google brings that no other office application does. One that I majorly liked was that you can collaborate your work with other authors (by inviting them privately into your documents) so you can write up things as a group. Think of the possibilities (co-authoring an entire novel online). Overall Google Docs & Spreadsheets has some really cool features that many sects of people can enjoy.
What would be really cool for SEO gurus and webmasters is that if google integrated it’s SEO applications and Webmaster tools to export statistics and related “texts/graphs” into the spreadsheet and document program. That would be very versatile and enjoying to see.
Either way, Google is doing good. I can’t wait to see what they have next in store for us. I’m thinking either a time machine, or they take over the world with robot koalas.

Hi, I am Cliff from EditGrid. Actually long before Google Docs and Spreadsheets came out, EditGrid is already there competing the spreadsheet market with Google spreadsheets, up till now, it still support more languages, and many features than Google, like charts, publish spreadsheet to blog, remote stockquote and forex or even regularly fetch data from web to your own spreadsheet. I invite you to give it a try.
Interesting, thank you.
Ready. Set. Go.
In terms of the formatting, you're allowed to use markdown, textile, or basic html; it's truly up to you -- what strikes your fancy?
You don't have to worry about your e-mail address being sold to a russian-spam-mafia. I'm only going to use it for my own weird needs; like asking you out for a date on a lonely night of coding.
