Social Networks

Published: December 3rd, 2006

We hear the words “Social Network” a great deal these days. It’s an Internet phenomenon that is bearing fruit, both by virtue of launching successful ideas and by providing much appreciated services to Internet users. It began with Craig’s List, not long after the Internet itself became a phenomenon.

This is an interesting post about how the internet is changing. This is just confirming my believe on how the internet is involving. I view it much like the t.v revolution. First we started out with black & white, then more things were discovered. I believe we just took the first baby-steps for the internet. Everything up until now has been “beta internet”. What do I mean? Well everything on the internet before the “web 2.0 dubbed craze” was pretty much the “Information”, one dimensional aspect of the internet. Now with the fad of “web 2.0″ it’s now a information+community aspect. In my eyes, that’s only two-dimensional. We’re missing something here, and it’s actually a lot. We’re going to be seeing a lot of changes in the internet, and it’s just the beginning. How exciting is that? I’m stoked for the future!

In terms of the formatting, you're allowed to use markdown, textile, or basic html; it's truly up to you -- what strikes your fancy?

You don't have to worry about your e-mail address being sold to a russian-spam-mafia. I'm only going to use it for my own weird needs; like asking you out for a date on a lonely night of coding.
