I want mephisto but…
Published: January 26th, 2007I want to employ Mephisto on my blog, but too many things are setting me back!
I have a couple things holding me back..
The dedicated server I’m on only has so much memory. Each mongrel cluster takes 25 megabytes each. I’m not sure I want to take that much memory for my measly blog. I rather save it for another application that I want to launch with rails.
Secondly, it’s so easy to upgrade Wordpress that I don’t want to deal with the hassle that rails would give me for upgrading mephisto over time.
I guess I’m just lazy, but hey - that’s one of the main characteristics of a programmer right? :)

You don't have to worry about your e-mail address being sold to a russian-spam-mafia. I'm only going to use it for my own weird needs; like asking you out for a date on a lonely night of coding.
