Discovery 2057 - Amazing. I love the possibilities of technology.

Did anyone get a chance to watch ‘Discovery 2057′ tonight? It was about three hours long, and amazing. I’m sure they’ll re-play it, or give you the option to purchase the special; in case you missed it.
I was simply blown away on some of the emerging technologies. The coolest, yet freakiest part was that many of the ‘coming technologies’ are actually already here, the only thing is they are ‘improving’ it for the consumer base. That’s some pretty cool stuff!
Flying cars, almost instant ambulances, holograms, insane medical technology, scary big brother surveillance, it goes on and on!
Some stuff scary, yes, but others I want them now! This was geek haven watching this, I was drooling with anticipation for some of the stuff they previewed. Holographic games? Give me!
One thing made me giggle though, they kept going on about ‘hackers’ and how a thirteen year old kid knocked out a whole city with ‘old’ programs. Yeah, um, I doubt it. But either way, it was really entertaining to watch. I recommend to watch this if you’re interested in technology.
