I’m going crazy trying to decide on a Macbook or Macbook Pro
Published: March 19th, 2007I hate dilemmas, should I get a macbook, or a macbook pro?
My plan is to either buy a macbook, or a macbook pro to replace my current 21″ iMac core duo. I am planning to sell the iMac after I get one or the other laptop.
I am having such a huge dilemma that I really feel like pulling out my hair. Should I go for the cheaper, and smaller/more portable macbook (black) ($1300ish) and then buy a 24″ monitor (I think <$1,000) after selling the iMac, or go the macbook pro route ($1600+ ebay/refurbished) then buying a 30″ ACD to accompany it (<$2,000).
So my dilemma is really making me scratch my head, I have no idea what direction to take. If anyone could shed some light - I would really appreciate it.

said that, you can get a 30″ for 1200usd (dell/somtimes with a 25% discount that is), so that would max your second option choice to “only” 2800 which is almost too good to pass on :D
and let me assure you… 30″ is superb, its seriously awesome :D

And yes, I have made my decision (thankfully, I did it without going bald!) - I am getting a MacBook Pro. Hopefully it is already on the way, I want to get it by the end of the week.
I am actually debating whether to go for the Apple Cinema Display 30″ or the Dell, definitely getting a 30″ - I can’t wait to be in geek heaven!
