As a geek, and a programmer - What’s your energy drink?

Published: March 28th, 2007

What’s your favorite energy drink? What puts the badass in you!?

In my opinion, there are three top geek energy drinks. You got, BAWLS, Monster, and Rockstar. What’s in your fridge?

This one was my first energy drink ever, and let me tell you; I had a lot of bawls. This was in the “young geek” mode where I was more of a gamer than a programmer. Same sleep pattern (really late) just not productive. This will always be my favorite for two reason. One, the name is hilarious. Two, it tastes really good.

I’ve had rockstar a couple of times, and honestly I hate it. I think it tastes the worst out of all the energy drinks. Energy drinks are actually an acquired taste for most people I know, but this really has to be the worst of them allto get used to. Apparently it’s still in the Top 3 of most popular “geek” energy drinks. (My statistics come from my OWN observations, obey me.)

Last comes Monster, my second favorite. What is also great about Monster, they put a LOT of drink in a can. We all know that as programmers we get pretty lazy and don’t want to get up for a new drink. Lots of energy, lots of drink, and a good taste; definitely one of the best.

So, what’s in your fridge?

what about jolt!!!
