Mozy, amazing free backup service.

Mozy is an awesome free backup service, check it out!

I recently came across a little gem (as in a cool useful service; not a ruby gem) called Mozy.

Mozy is a backup service that offers 2 gigs of free space on both PC’s and MAC’s. I thought that was great, but I also
had an afterthought wondering how much it would be for unlimited bandwith/space? Reading a couple more lines told me it was only $5 a month for unlimited room for automated backups. Definitely an impressive service.

They also have pre-built “automated” backups. What this means is that it well show you options to back up your mail, application preferences, address book, etc. But you can also specify specific folders you want backed up. It automatically backs up files that are changed every two hours.

Go ahead and check it out! - If you use this link, then you get 256 mb extra space.

You don't have to worry about your e-mail address being sold to a russian-spam-mafia. I'm only going to use it for my own weird needs; like asking you out for a date on a lonely night of coding.
