There is nothing more depressing than designing a page that looks gorgeous in Safari and Firefox, only to fire up IE and see a hideous monster staring back at you :/</description>

		<description>We recently created a site where we sell funny t-shirts for programmers.  We got sick of working with IE, and completely banned all IE users from our site.  They all get dumped &lt;a href="http://codesmack.com/ie.html" title="You can't use CodeSmack.com if you use Internet Explorer" rel="nofollow"&gt;to a special landing page&lt;/a&gt; that doesn't let them inside our site.

At &lt;a href="http://codesmack.com/" title="T-Shirts for Programmer Smack Talk" rel="nofollow"&gt;CodeSmack&lt;/a&gt;, we &lt;a href="http://codesmack.com/blog/2007/05/16/ie-users-youre-fired/" title="IE Users - You're Fired!" rel="nofollow"&gt;fired our IE customers&lt;/a&gt;, and never looked back.  We even designed a &lt;a href="http://codesmack.com/tshirts/ie" title="Seriously?!? You're Still Using IE?" rel="nofollow"&gt;t-shirt mocking IE users&lt;/a&gt;.  It's been among our most popular.  For our demographic, it was a no-brainer decision: IE users weren't deserving of our shirts, just as they aren't deserving of your blog. :-)</description>
