Published: February 20th, 2008If you’ve ever wanted to take advantage of a super-computer processing pool, like the Amazon EC2 service… this Gem is for you.
Introducing:
ProcessorPool is a new Gem that was released by the team I’m apart of at CitrusByte1. It’s a soft-load-balancer that simplifies the process of forking off heavy processing to an EC2 instance. Talk about making things easy for a developer! It really doesn’t get any more simple than this.
A Tutorial Too!
Not only did we release the Gem, but Ari Lerner also wrote up a tutorial on how to use it. Thanks Ari!
