LiquidWeb Down for a Couple Hours?
Published: March 11th, 2008What happened to LiquidWeb? Was anyone else affected by this outage? Please don’t tell me you were drunk and rammed into their datacenter!
Lameness
Did anyone else notice that LiquidWeb was down for a couple hours? I’m not sure if it was just me, or if it was a global problem. My site, and a lot of sites I host on my dedicated server weren’t responding. I also couldn’t get to their main site “http://www.liquidweb.com”:http://www.liquidweb.com. I hope nothing bad happened like a drunk driver smashing into the data center. For those who didn’t catch that, it’s happened before but for a different company.
Please pardon me?
My apologies for any downtime that happened to be an inconvenience for you. I know my amazing code snippets totally brighten up your day. You should have went to Techno Weenie’s blog instead, shame on you for trusting me!

Very sorry for your troubles today. Shoot me an email and I’ll give you a large compensation. Long story short, we had a router problem that caused a small portion of our customers to have poor routing. Everything is settled now, but it did cause some funkyness for some people for a while.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for being a customer

Looks like RedCloth nobbled your link, Dan.
The guy who ran into the power station outside the RackSpace data center wasn’t drunk, he passed out from being either hypoglycemic or hypeglycemic.
Ready. Set. Go.
In terms of the formatting, you're allowed to use markdown, textile, or basic html; it's truly up to you -- what strikes your fancy?
You don't have to worry about your e-mail address being sold to a russian-spam-mafia. I'm only going to use it for my own weird needs; like asking you out for a date on a lonely night of coding.
